The conveyor is particularly suitable for machines that remove chips of all sizes (e.g., laser cutting, billet machines, etc.) or for large machines with very high hourly amounts of chips, sometimes of considerable strength and size.
BENEFITS
As the chips fall into the open area of the conveyor, they are transported by the belt down the ascending ramp, with the help of transverse paddles, and discharged to the desired height.
For evacuation of swarf type from laser cutting machines, the 50-pitch hinged belt is suitable, but with disappearing curl, so that the conveying surface is flat and without possibility of the swarf getting stuck.
For large machine tools (large vertical lathes, peeling machines, milling-boring machines over 5 meters, etc.), the use of hinged belt with 75 mm pitch or even better with 100 mm pitch (hinge with 3.5 mm thickness) is preferred.
These evacuators have no real standard, so they are configured by our technical department to the dimensions required by the customer.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
- tank/case that performs the functions of frame and chip collector, within which the conveyor belt runs along guides shown on its inner walls: 3 or 4 mm thick sheet metal structure and reinforced sheet metal return guides.
- Conveyor belt composed of elements (metal hinges) used to move the processing scraps from the collection point to the discharge outlet located at the end of the up ramp;
- Belt elements (hinges) machined from 3- or 3.5-mm-thick cold-forged sheet metal, with 30- or 50-mm-high thrust vanes;
- transmission unit consisting of the electric motor, the gearbox, the motion transmission shaft on which the belt is keyed, and the belt slide tensioning system;
- Electromechanical safety device mounted on the motorgear;
- Optional coolant recirculation unit (electric pumps and filters);
